TERRORISM IN PAKISTAN
Some analysts believe that Pakistan has a capability to curb the surge of terrorism in the country but it is lack of the will that is the hindrance in the way of restoring peace across the country. they further said the ongoing dialogue with the leadership of Taliban would fail because of militant hard line ideology and differences between law enforcement agencies and Nawaz civilian government. However there are some other analysts like Lieutenant-General Hamid Gul, the retired chief of Pakistan's ISI intelligence agency, who believed that the talks presented a real opportunity for Pakistan to end its domestic conflict. they also put a condition that peace should be restored only through Islamicise Pakistan.
These various “terrorist” organizations were created as a result of CIA support and foreign assistance and these terrorists organizations are not the product of religion rather they were established to materialize “a pan-Islamic Caliphate” is part of a carefully devised intelligence operation by some intelligence agencies. To understand the capacity of terrorists working inside Pakistan, Peshawar could be taken as a test case in Pakistan. Peshawar, a capital city of the Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province, is at the hit list of the terrorists since 2004. There are as many as 56 bomb blasts incidents occurred in Peshawar since January 2014 to April 6, 2014 in which 146 people killed while 344 sustained injuries. A fresh bomb blast incident occurred on 10th April 2014 in which four people including two children were injured. The planted bomb was an improvised explosive device (IED) that went off near a police post at Dir Town on Dalazak Road in Peshawar. This data shows that Pakistan is still vulnerable to terrorist activities and the government despite all it vociferous claims has failed to curb the terrorism in the country. If concrete steps were not taken, it could be feared that terrorists would be succeeded to destroy the fabric of overall society in coming years.
